Resources and guides to promote diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility across the clinical and translational science spectrum.
The resources below are available to help enhance the quality, relevance and impact of clinical and translational research. By applying a DEIA lens to research, we can:
- Enhance recruitment and retention of diverse and representative participants
- Address the health needs and priorities of diverse and underserved communities to help reduce health disparities and promote health equity
- Increase the diversity and inclusion of researchers and research staff to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and excellence
- Engage and empower diverse and relevant stakeholders, such as patients, caregivers, community members and policy makers to enhance the dissemination and implementation of research results

Working with the community, Ohio State University clinician–scientists curated trusting relationships that facilitated recruitment and retention of Black Americans in a clinical trial.
