2025 Federal Sponsor Updates to Article and Data Sharing
This informational session will provide an introduction to the new policies, how to find and interpret agency-specific guidance, and an overview of Ohio State tools and resources.
Are you ready for the new Federal public access rules? Join experts from the Office of Sponsored Programs, University Libraries, and Health Sciences Library to learn about upcoming changes to article and data sharing requirements affecting researchers across all disciplines and funding levels. These include new requirements for zero-embargo access to peer-reviewed research articles and expanded expectations for data management and sharing.

- Methods for compliance across the award lifecycle
- Common challenges encountered when sharing articles and data
- Guidance on how to budget for public access costs
This workshop is ideal for researchers who currently receive federal funding or may apply in the future, as well as staff who support federally-funded researchers.
