Research Support Series: NIH Topics of the Day
The Center for Faculty Advancement, Mentoring and Engagement (FAME) is hosting a virtual session on February 18, 2026, from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Titled, "Research Support Series: NIH Topics of the Day."
Join us for the second NIH-focused session in the 2025-26 COM Research Support Series. Updates will be provided on new and evolving policies at NIH that impact COM grant submissions and review. Topics will include: An introduction to the new 'simplified review' process and tips for outlining a grant for this type of review, new policies like limits on the number of PI submissions, non-human research guidelines and strategies to address these in future applications, and more. Representatives will be present from the Grants Management Office (GMO) in COM, the university-level Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP), and OSUCOM's Office of Research.
